A B O U T U S
Hayes Auctioneers is a family owned and managed Auction company in Perth, Western Australia and has been in operation since 1995. We specialise in the disposal of all types of goods, with particular emphasis on antiques and Deceased Estates. We have an auction every two weeks, always on a Sunday, alternating between our Furniture & Collectables and Antique auctions
We hold a two-monthly Furniture & Collectables Auction on Sundays of around a 500 lots incorporating better quality collectable’s, antiques, vintage furniture, home wares, white goods, jewellery, electrical and office equipment, together with all sorts of other disposal goods. Viewing for this sale is on the Friday prior to the sale between 12 noon and 6pm, Saturday between 10am-6pm and on the morning of the sale between 9 and 10am.
We have fortnightly Antique Auctions, also held on a Sunday and offering around 500 lots of quality antique furniture, antique and modern jewellery, silver and plate, porcelain and ceramics, ivory, jade and objects d’art, books, carpets, paintings, prints and so forth. Viewing for this sale is also on the Friday prior to the sale between 12 noon and 6pm, the Saturday preceding the sale between 10am and 6pm and on the morning of the sale prior to 10am.
Our very strong collector’s selection in the Furniture & collectables auction and the advantage of a separate Antique floor allows us to better target the sale of goods to two distinctly different markets. It also allows us to efficiently handle the vast variety of goods that generally constitutes a Deceased Estate
C O N S I G N M E N T S
We accept goods for the auction on a Wednesday & Thursday (other days by arrangement where necessary). The Vendor is responsible for the cost of transporting the goods to our rooms; when using our regular carriers we are happy to pay then on the Vendors behalf and deduct the cost from the proceeds of the sale.
We charge a 20% commission plus GST (a total of 22%) and there is a one off Handling Fee on the consignment of $7.50 plus GST (a total of $8.25). Payment of goods sold is made within 14 days of the date of sale. The Consignment is generally kept as a whole entity and a cheque issued when the last goods are sold; however the Vendor is at liberty to request a cheque for any proceeds sold to date at any time during the course of the consignment and for this service there is an Early Cheque Fee of $20.00 plus GST (a total of $22.00)

We are open between 9.30am and 5pm Tuesday to Friday for office enquiries – viewing times and days are usually 12 noon to 6pm on the Friday prior to the auction and 10am to 6pm the Saturday prior to the auction
